Professional BSP for Arrow LPC3250 EPC
The Professional Edition of the emlix Linux Board Support Package for the Arrow LPC3250 EPC board is particularly composed for the use in industrial embedded applications and customized for target hardware. Compiler and libraries use the vector floating point coprozessor of the LPC3250 to full capacity, so that mathematic calculations can be executed with high performance.
Furthermore the BSP is based on e2 factory, the emlix embedded build framework, which provides long-term maintainability and reproducibility. The LPC3250 EPC BSP is designated to be used in development projects. It forms the ideal basis for a quick start to the development of your own products.
To support development on Windows PCs a complete Linux system with a preconfigured Eclipse IDE is also included as a virtual harddisk image. The virtual harddisk image is provided as a VMware disk image that can be executed with common virtual machine applications.

Start-up Support
The Professional Edition includes 60 days of start-up support via email. We are looking forward to supporting you with deploying the filesystem images onto the persistent storage of the target hardware. Free updates (up to 12 months forward from release date) make it possible for Professional Edition customers to integrate new features and bug fixes easily.
In addition to the Professional Edition we offer an Evaluation Edition, which is designed for the evaluation of the hardware. Compared to the Professional Edition its functional range is reduced. It is distributed by Arrow exclusively.

Using e2 factory as a build framework makes sure that customer-specific modifications can be realized economically. For such customized editions a solution ready for production can be achieved through additional drivers, software packages, network services and enhancements for special applications, and also through targeted trimming. We also offer support for your application development through our team of embedded linux application developers that are well-versed to make best use of the software programming environment provided with the emlix BSP.
