The Evaluation Edition of the emlix Board Support Package (BSP) for the BF527 EPC makes a fast evaluation of the Blackfin CPU with Linux as an operating system possible. As an additional feature the BSP includes a complete Linux system with a preconfigured eclipse IDE on the basis of VMWare to make sure that a simple evaluation of the BSP can also be carried out using Windows-based computers. The BSP is realtime enabled with Xenomai. Realtime tasks can be executed controlled by the ADEOS Microkernel while preserving the Linux environment.

The two-day developer seminar “Embedded Linux for Blackfin” is an introduction with practical examples which will give you a good basis for your own projects. The seminar is offered in Göttingen, Berlin and Nuremberg, as well as Europe-wide as in-house training. The target participants are developers with little or no previous knowledge of Unix/Linux. emlix also offers individual training to get an in-depth introduction to the technology.
